God is Bringing America Back Into His Grace

No one has to be prophetic to look at America and see that we have gotten out of rhythm with God’s plan and dream for us. We have stepped out of God’s grace. Most biblical judgement is not God deciding one day to rain down destruction on us. It’s the reaping of destructive actions that have been sown. In Jonah 2:8, it says, “Those who worship worthless idols forfeit the mercy that could be theirs.” There have to be consequences when we legislate God out of a nation and say He’s not welcome. What should we expect from Him when the shedding of innocent blood through abortion is legalized? When we turn away from Him and start worshipping other gods, we forfeit grace. What God is trying to do is bring us back into that grace. 

The Bible tells us God takes no pleasure in the judgement of the wicked. Any time there is repentance and humbling ourselves before the Lord, His desire is always to heal. He wants to fix the problem in the heart. When there is a massive turning from our idolatry back to God, that is revival. That is what He is after. Society will have to shift when that many people are coming into the Kingdom. It doesn’t mean everything will be perfect in America. It means that revival is changing the hearts of men and women. The actions we take as a result will begin to effect change over time in our government, our laws, our education, our media, etc.

God is going to bring such a revival in this coming season that millions of hearts are going to turn toward Him. Eventually, the nation will operate the way He wants it to. It is going to come back into a rhythm of grace. We are going to recapture our destiny. 

I want to encourage you all. I have been a part of a movement of prayer for this nation for 30 years. God has sent me all over this nation in that timeframe. I have been to many historic locations. Some were well known. Some were obscure, and I didn’t even know about them until I got there. I have been to every state multiple times. I can assure you that there have been millions of prayers prayed over the last 30 years. There have been prayers of repentance and humble petition asking God to move. Millions of people have fasted innumerable days. We have been led by the Lord into identificational repentance, not for our own sins, but for the sins of our forefathers as in Daniel 9. We have been led into reconciliation with others that we did not previously agree with for various reasons. We have been led to heal broken covenants, especially with Native Americans. We have declared and decreed His Word and His purposes. Only God knows when all of that is enough. But I can tell you right now that the prophets are declaring the Great Awakening is here, and I believe that.

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

• Ask the Lord to shine His light on any place of idolatry in your life.
• Pray the same for the corporate Body of Christ. Idolatry must be eliminated from us.
• Identificationally repent for America removing God from civil society. 
• Thank Him for His mercy on us.
• Declare, “God, You are welcome in every aspect of America. You are welcome in our lives, homes, businesses, schools, and governmental functions. You are welcome here!”
• Thank Him for leading multiplied millions to pray for this nation over the last generation. 
• Proclaim, “Your grace is sufficient for us, for Your power is made perfect in our weakness. Let the power of Christ now come and rest on us!”

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, come and shine Your holy light on every square inch of our hearts. Reveal any idolatry or motivation that might lead us to replace You with any other thing the world has to offer. We need Jesus! Remove this idolatry from the whole Church. What a powerful expression of Christ we will be when we are wholeheartedly expressing our love for You alone! Forgive our nation for ignoring You and removing You from our civil society. How could people ever think that would permanently keep You out of our affairs?  Thank You for forgiveness and thank You for mercy.

Lord, You have raised up a praying Church over the last 30 years. There are millions of people praying now. You have taught us to identificationally repent for the sins of our forefathers. You have taught us how to reconcile with our brothers and sisters in Christ to the level of national reconciliation. You have taught us how to declare and decree, not just petition You. You have shown us the power of combining worship and intercession together. You have shown us how critical unity among the brethren is. You have raised up an Ekklesia, a legislating army. You are going to cause us to hear and proclaim Your strategies. You are going to increase our air superiority. Your grace is sufficient for us, and Your power is made perfect in our weakness. Therefore, let the power of Christ now come and rest on us! Turn America toward Your Son, Jesus. Amen.

America is coming back into His mercy and recapturing its destiny.
