Calling for the Righteous Leaders

If President Trump would just give us some pro-life judges, who will stop legislating and start honoring the God-given Constitution, then I would consider him a success. This is not a political thing to me. This is me crying out to God, “Give us righteousness in this nation.” I don’t say, “Let this or that party win.” I say, “God, give us righteous leaders in government!” I don’t care what party they’re with. I say, “Give us righteous men and women in Congress again. Give us righteous judges as before (like it says in Isaiah 1:26.) Give us people there that boldly and unashamedly will call on You. Give them the boldness to get up and say, ‘In the Name of Jesus.’”

And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning: afterward you shall be called, the city of righteousness, the faithful city.” (Isaiah 1:26; NKJV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Ask God to draw Believers serving in governmental offices into closer intimacy with Himself.
  • Intercede for them that they will walk righteously in their elected offices. This is what God calls “success”.
  • Pray that they will educate themselves to know our Constitution and how the Constitution is based on God’s Word.
  • Call forth those righteous laws the nation still needs. Pray that God’s Ekklesia in the Congress will hear and see those laws in the heavens, write them in the earth and champion them until they are passed into law.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, restore credibility to Your people serving in public office, not so we can be politically strong, but spiritually strong.  Raise up government leaders that truly know You. Raise up those that aren’t just there to “Christianize”, but give us Your people who are wise in the ways of the Constitution and law and know You very well. Say to them, “Come up higher. I want to show you things.” Open their ears to hear and eyes to see Your plans for this nation. Give them the words for righteous legislation and give them the boldness to carry it to completion. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Today’s decree:

God, give us righteous leaders in government!
