The Cry for Awakening
I have been listening to everything I can find on the topics of revival and awakening. I’m priming the pump! I don’t want to just dream of it and pray about it. I want to live it! So, I’m immersing myself in it as often as I can. If not in the prayer room and at corporate events, then by YouTube videos—I’m soaking it up and taking it out into my daily life. I am going to live in an atmosphere of awakening and I will see God pour out His Spirit, change lives and revive this nation!
“O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water.” (Psalm 63:1; ESV)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
- Determine to set an atmosphere for revival in your home or room or office or car – somewhere where you can soak in the presence of God.
- Prime the pump and cry out for awakening and revival just like the blind man in Luke 18:38!
- Remind the Lord of what you have heard Him say about His fresh outpouring in our day!
- Remind Him of all the sin and corruption and cold-heartedness in our nation and ask Him again for the wind of His Spirit to blow it all away and blow in His life!
- See that bowl called “Awakening?” Say, “Tip it, Lord! Tip ‘Awakening’!”
A prayer you can pray:
Lord, we have cried out across this nation for awakening and revival. You have promised us many times that You’re going to do this. You’ve shown us through visions, through dreams, through the Word and spoken it to the prophets that You’re coming to revive a nation. You are coming to save us from our sin and compromise and decay and destruction. So Lord, we believe that the bowls are full. You’re ready to tip “Awakening”! You’re ready to pour out Your Spirit. Come, Lord, Jesus, Come!

The bowls of Awakening are about to be tipped!
