Interceding Into the Shaking

[On April 23rd, I participated in the Prophetic Dateline Event hosted by Mike and Cindy Jacobs. Other prophetic friends were on, as well, and beginning with posts on 4/28/20, I wanted to give you a sense of what the Lord is saying through these voices.]

RICK RIDINGS, SUCCAT HALLEL, JERUSALEM

“In July, I was in Hong King at an event with about 10,000 mainland Chinese. Demonstrations had begun in Hong Kong. I felt the Lord prompt me to proclaim the vision I had about the threshing basket. He told me to declare, “When it looks like the demonstrations are going to spin out of control, and it looks like there will be a military invasion of Hong Kong, trust Me. I will bring it back down. But, there will be another shaking. China will be severely shaken in the coming days.

“As I was leaving Hong Kong, demonstrators took over the airport. It was a severe time and it did look like things were going to get out of control. God raised up His prophetic people with a Word to shift the situation. They physically went into the street between the police and the demonstrators. They began to worship the Lord. As they worshipped, the whole thing calmed down. It was a very dangerous situation and many of them could have been killed. But, they were God’s answer in that moment and the threat dissipated.

“A few months later, the shakings in China began with the coronavirus. I am in contact with a close friend who is a pastor in Wuhan. She said that through the deep shaking they just went through, she held onto that Word. She said things looked like they would go completely out of control. They were surrounded by so much death. However, they declared, ‘Lord, the enemy cannot do anything beyond what You allow. You will bring these shakings back down.’ Through it all, God did a lot of sifting and threshing in their personal lives and in the Church. She reports that they are in a very different place now of total dependence on the Lord. They said they feel the Lord has restored to them a ‘first love’ for Him again.

“I believe that God wants us to know things ahead of time. He wants us to know that He is the One that shakes out everything that can be shaken, so that only what cannot be shaken will remain. Many prophetic voices have felt like things would shake, but would start settling down after Passover. I believe the Lord is showing us that we need to use the ‘calm periods’ between the shakings to advance the Gospel and bring in the harvest. I don’t think the shakings are over. The shakings are preparing the harvest. The shakings begin at an individual level, then the nations shake. The evil systems of the world need to be ‘shattered’ by the prayers of the saints, so the systems don’t strengthen in the shaking, rising up to steal the harvest.”

“Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron, you shall shatter them like earthenware.’” (Psalm 2:8-9; NASB)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

• Focus your attention on the Prince of Peace. Just sit there a minute and gaze at His beauty.
• Contemplate Psalm 2: 8-9. The Lord has given us scepters of iron, and the world’s systems are vessels of clay.
• Declare, “God is giving us authority to wield that iron scepter, to break evil structures. It is not time for them to arise!”
• Rise up, Ekklesia, and receive direction in how to pray to break the systems of evil in the earth.
• Say, “Instead of total collapse, we will see fruit and blessing in the harvest coming in.”

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, You are truly seated on Your throne. You sit in incomprehensible majesty. You are unperturbed in Your countenance. You are beautiful in Your Glory. All who surround You proclaim, “Holy, holy, holy!” You are the One who was, Who is, and Who is to come. You hold all things in Your hand and You know the end from the beginning.

Lord, we thank You for Your eternal Word. In it, we find words of life. It brings peace, comfort, encouragement, and life to those of us who know You. In Psalm 2:8-9, You say, ““Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron, you shall shatter them like earthenware.’” Therefore, we have no need to be afraid. This is the promise You gave Jesus, which is also given to the Church, His Bride. We join our faith and intercession to this section of scripture.We declare, “God is giving us authority to wield that iron scepter, to break evil structures. It is not time for them to arise!” We expect the systems of the earth to be broken, so that Your mercy can wake up the lost, save, heal, restore and restructure. We call for the Ekklesia to rise up and war in the Spirit with Your Word. We say together,  “Instead of total collapse, we will see fruit and blessing in the harvest coming in.” We praise You, Jesus, in advance of the victories we fully expect. Amen. 

Today’s decree:

The shakings in the earth are releasing the great harvest of souls.
