70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 27

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

REBUILDING THE WALL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN OUR NATION, STATES, AND TERRITORIES – 52 Day State Prayer Focus: Day 10: South Carolina, May 23, 1788

“Strap your sword to your side, mighty warrior, along with your honor and majesty. In your majesty ride forth for the cause of truth, humility, and righteousness; and your strong right hand will teach you awesome things. Your arrows are sharpened to penetrate the hearts of the king’s enemies. People will fall under you. Your throne, God, exists forever and ever, and the scepter of your kingdom is a righteous scepter. (Psalm 45:3-8; ISV)

“…clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.’ Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.” (1 Peter 5:5-6; NIV)

“If therefore there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself;  do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:1-11; NASB)

“Little children, let us not love in word only, neither with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.”  (I John 3:18; NHEB)

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we acknowledge Jesus as our Mighty Warrior and the King of Righteousness. Lord Jesus, strap Your sword to Your side, Mighty Warrior, along with Your honor and majesty. In Your majesty, ride forth for the cause of truth, humility, and righteousness throughout our nation and the state of South Carolina. Let Your strong right hand teach us awesome things. Release Your sharpened arrows to penetrate the hearts of the king’s enemies in our nation and this state. People will fall under You. Your throne, God, exists forever and ever, and the scepter of your kingdom is a righteous scepter. You love justice and hate wickedness. That is why God, even Your God, has anointed you rather than your companions with the oil of gladness. Lord, we declare over this nation and the state of Carolina, we love righteousness and hate wickedness. Let the oil of gladness be released upon us. Father, we acknowledge and come into agreement with Your kingdom plan and purposes for our nation and the state of South Carolina. We humble ourselves before You as nation, and on behalf of the state of South Carolina. We ask you to forgive us in any place we have been prideful or rebellious against You, Your Word and Your righteous plan for America. We ask that you align our nation and South Carolina with Your truth, humility, and righteousness. We call South Carolina into the original intent of her birthright and destiny as ordained by Almighty God. South Carolina, we declare that you walk in the spirit of humility under God’s mighty hand. We declare that you abound in the grace of God. Your due time is upon you, South Carolina. The Lord is calling you to birth the new. The Lord declares over you, “Hold to your prophetic destiny and legislate righteousness on behalf of the land. You are the state that reversed the curse!” We declare the Word of the Lord, “Instead of moving out of time and moving in a way with the enemy to produce chaos, you’re going to move with Me and liberty will come from South Carolina… Let God snap you into place and position as a gatekeeper and doorkeeper” (Chuck Pierce). South Carolina, you carry the power of intercession and breakthrough within you. “You are a battle axe in the hand of the Lord” (Diane Buker). We decree over you that you are “prepared in mind and deed.” South Carolina you will not just love in word only, but in deed and truth. Father, we ask You to reconnect South Carolina to her redemptive roots and enable her to bring forth breakthroughs for our nation. South Carolina, you have a new attitude, a new heart and a new mind to bring a true spirit of unity in our nation. We decree revival, awakening, reformation and transformation to the state of South Carolina, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The 70 Day Decree:

Lord God, we present ourselves unto You a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). We acknowledge and declare that we are filled with the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:11). Your Word tells us that righteousness exalts a nation (Proverbs 14:34). We stand before You in the land You have given us, and we decree and release the righteousness of Christ into our territories, spheres of influence, our cities, states, and nation in order to bring healing, revival, awakening, and reformation to America. Father, let Your Spirit of righteousness be released and established in us, and in every place in which You have given us jurisdiction. Let Your righteous Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10)! Prepare the soil of this nation and realign us with Your righteousness! In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
