70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 19

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

REBUILDING THE WALL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN OUR NATION, STATES, AND TERRITORIES

“When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when He divided all mankind, He set up boundaries for the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel. For the Lord’s portion is His people, Jacob His allotted inheritance.” (Deuteronomy 32:8-9; NIV)

“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as warriors rejoice when dividing the plunder.” (Isaiah 9:2-3; NIV)

“Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory!…” (1 Chronicles 4:10; NIV)

“The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.” (Psalm 37:29; NIV)

Let us continue to stand fast in righteousness on behalf our nation to see healing, revival, awakening, reformation, and transformation come to the land! Our special prayer focus today is the U. S. Territories.

The United States has 16 territories, five of which are inhabited permanently. The five inhabited territories are Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa.

The uninhabited territories are Palmyra Atoll (Pacific), Baker Island (Pacific), Howland Island (Pacific), Jarvis Island (Pacific), Johnston Atoll (Pacific), Kingman Reef (Pacific), Midway Islands (Pacific), Wake Island (Pacific), Bajo Nuevo Bank (Caribbean), Navassa Island (Caribbean), and Serranilla Bank (Caribbean).

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Thank the Lord for the United State of America, our U. S. Territories, and the boundaries that He has set for the people in the earth.
  • Release the righteousness of Christ and the light of the gospel of the Kingdom of God into our nation and these territories.
  • Ask the Lord to protect our borders and the natural resources of these territories.
  • Pray for those in authority in these U. S. Territories.
  • Pray over the 7 mountains of society within the 5 inhabited U. S. Territories: Church, Family, Government, Business, Education, Media, Arts/Entertainment.
  • Look up information about one or more of the territories. Ask Holy Spirit to give you a prayer strategy.
  • Decree Isaiah 9:2-3, I Chronicles 4:10, and Psalm 37:29 over our nation and U. S. Territories.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we come into agreement with Your kingdom plan and purposes for our nation and all 16 U. S. Territories. Thank you for the redemptive plan that You have ordained for our nation and these territories. We are thankful for the exact times and places that You have ordained for us to live. We ask that You use Your plumb line to align our nation and these territories in your righteousness. We call our nation and all 16 U. S. Territories into the original intent of their birthright and destiny, as ordained by You. Protect our borders and the natural resources of these territories. Release and rebuild Your wall of righteousness within our nation and within these territories. (Decree the above Scriptures over the Territories.) We pray these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.

The 70 Day Decree:

Lord God, we present ourselves unto You a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). We acknowledge and declare that we are filled with the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:11). Your Word tells us that righteousness exalts a nation (Proverbs 14:34). We stand before You in the land You have given us, and we decree and release the righteousness of Christ into our territories, spheres of influence, our cities, states, and nation in order to bring healing, revival, awakening, and reformation to America. Father, let Your Spirit of righteousness be released and established in us, and in every place in which You have given us jurisdiction. Let Your righteous Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10)! Prepare the soil of this nation and realign us with Your righteousness! In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
