Taking the Enemy by Surprise

I heard a story about a man named Sir Arthur Harris. They called him “Bomber Harris”. He led an operation called “Operation Millennium.” His plan to bring the final defeat to Hitler and the Nazis was to bring 1000 bombers a night to different German cities. I didn’t say 1000 bombs. I said 1000 bombers. It became the undoing of the Third Reich. It took them by surprise and completely destroyed their morale and the cities of Germany. He said, “The Nazis entered this war under the childish delusion that they were going to bomb everyone else and nobody was going to bomb them. Victory will go to the one that first employs air power as it should be employed.”

“And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive it, if you have faith.” (Mathew 21:22; ESV)
