Electoral College Timeline and Lawsuits 

According to Ballotpedia, 33 lawsuits in 8 states have been filed in dispute of the 2020 election results. Seventeen in 5 states are solely regarding the presidential race. There are a number of other suits currently being prepared as more and more whistleblowers are coming forward to talk about their experiences. You can see them all here and here. I’m going to share specifics of a few of those cases here in Give Him 15. First, however, I want to say that this is a race against time. All lawsuits not having a resolution by December 14th could negatively affect the outcome of the 2020 elections. December 14th is the day the Electoral College meets. Let’s look at the process and take a deeper dive into some of the lawsuits to see how we can pray for the final election process. 

Typically, the election on November 3rd determines who wins the presidential election in that state. The state then chooses electors by December 8th. Those electors will take the state’s vote to the Electoral College on December 14th where they will cast the state’s electoral votes according to the election results. Our new Congress is sworn in on January 3rd of the following year and certifies the winner of the votes cast by the Electoral College on January 6th. The President is then sworn in on January 20th. There have only been a handful of disputed elections in U.S. history.

There have been so many individuals who have come forward with allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 elections that it looks like it will be one of those disputed years. Here are some of the specific disputes headed for court or where there is a high potential for a suit to be filed: 

Georgia conducted a recount beginning 11/13 that concluded Wednesday, 11/18. Joe Biden had a 14,000 vote lead there. Unfortunately, a last minute decision was made by the Secretary of State Raffensperger that signatures would not be validated during that recount. Therefore, the Trump campaign could sue to ask for an additional recount, ensuring that ballots were properly verified before they were counted and recounted. Republican recount watchers have not been allowed to be anywhere near the recount stations and cannot tell if ballots are being counted properly for each candidate. The Trump campaign asked the courts to allow access. This litigation is ongoing. Also, USBs have been found in 3 counties during the recount which hold uncounted votes, most for President Trump. It is unknown at this time exactly how this will affect the recount. There could be more out there!

In Pennsylvania, there are 2 cases to note. In Donald J. Trump v Boockvar, the campaign has alleged that the Secretary of State illegally extended the time period where mail-in ballots could be counted. Laws can only be made by state legislatures, not executive branches or the courts. Therefore, it is argued that the Secretary acted illegally in usurping the rights of the state legislature. This is still moving through the system, but the state was told by Supreme Court Justice Alito to set aside all ballots received after November 3rd, until this is decided. On 11/12, a PA judge ruled that the late ballots cannot be counted. It needs to be determined if those ballots were counted regardless. 

An additional lawsuit in Pennsylvania addressing transparent counting of mail-in ballots has been amended as filed and now states, “Allegheny and Philadelphia Counties alone received and processed 682,479 mail-in and absentee ballots without review by the political parties and candidates. These are unprecedented numbers in Pennsylvania’s election history. Rather than engaging in an open and transparent process to give credibility to Pennsylvania’s brand-new voting system, the processes were hidden during the receipt, review, opening, and tabulation of those 682,479 votes.” The lawsuit claims violations of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution’s Equal Protection Clause. This is because some voters who mailed in ballots in Philadelphia were alerted as to their ballots having a possible mistake and how to correct it. So those voters were given the opportunity to cast provisional ballots, while others were not given the same opportunity. Pre-canvassing also appears to have occurred, which is a violation of Pennsylvania law. There is just so much happening in Pennsylvania!

Finally, I want to focus on Trump’s attorney Sidney Powell and the team investigation, the receipt of thousands of whistleblower reports, and others’ complaints about voting machines using the Dominion software. The machines were proven to have reversed the vote in Antrim County, Michigan. The software was used in 30 states, across many precincts. Sidney Powell and others have said that according to whistleblowers, this software was specifically designed to adjust election results in real time in foreign elections. They have presented the actual algorithms used and can explain how it was used to increase votes for Biden, both by flipping Trump votes to Biden and by adding votes. This explains much of the mathematical anomalies we prayed about a few days ago where votes for Biden don’t line up with down-ballot votes or with past voting patterns in certain areas. Dominion may have been used in prior election cycles, as well. 

If this is all proven to be accurate, this election may need to be tossed out completely, and the election would then be decided one of 2 different ways per the U.S. Constitution. In the first, each state will have 1 vote in the House. This is not 1 vote per Representative, but 1 vote per state. Most states are Republican run. This could give President Trump a win. In the second possibility, the Supreme Court could make the decision, as it did in the 2000 election between President Bush and Al Gore. That is less likely, however, because this election is not about only one state’s votes hanging in the balance, but rather a matter of more than half our states potentially being affected. This is election fraud on a scale not seen before in America’s history.

“They say, ‘The Lord does not see; the God of Jacob takes no notice.’ Take notice, you senseless ones among the people; you fools, when will you become wise? Does he who fashioned the ear not hear? Does he who formed the eye not see? Does he who disciplines nations not punish? Does he who teaches mankind lack knowledge? The Lord knows all human plans; he knows that they are futile.” (Psalm 94:7-11; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

• Pray for a Constitutional result for the 2020 election. Ask the Lord to make the hearts of America’s citizens ready for an alternative, yet Constitutional, option to settle this election if the Electoral College system deadlines cannot be met.
• Pray for wisdom for the attorneys presenting the cases. They must have the Lord’s wisdom and clear facts to bring these matters before the courts.
• Pray specifically for Sidney Powell, Pam Bondi, Marc Scaringi, and Rudy Giulliani as they investigate complaints and develop case strategies. 
• Ask the Lord to protect them all.
• Declare, “Every legal vote will be counted and every illegal vote will be thrown out!”
• Say, “The One who fashioned the ear and formed the eye hears and sees what man is up to. He will render all human plans futile.”

A prayer you can pray:

God, we have never in our lifetime seen an election in this state of contention. The allegations of voter fraud, ballot tampering, ballot counting fraud, illegal legislative actions by governors and county clerks is unprecedented. These things could have been an issue in the past, however, the election process was not questioned. You are truly using this president to drain the swamp. What a mess! We are thankful You helped our forefathers construct a Constitution that has answers to help our republic continue even in circumstances like these. We ask for your intervention in all of the possible ways this election could be determined, if we cannot settle it by a simple ballot count. 

There are many attorneys across various states who are working long hours to ensure justice for every voter is rendered in this election. We lift them before You, Lord. Grant them grace and wisdom, and physical and emotional strength for this battle. Make sure they uncover all of the details so the cases can be easily presented and won. Protect them and their staff from threats and harm. Send Your holy angels to help them. No matter what the enemy throws at them, we declare from Your throne, “Every legal vote will be counted and every illegal vote will be thrown out!” For You, Lord, are the One who fashioned the ear and formed the eye and You hear and see what man is up to. You will render all human plans futile, and this battle for the soul of America will be won, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Lord who sees, will give President Trump’s attorneys wisdom and strategies from heaven to win the battle for this election and ultimately, the soul of America.
