Overcoming in Extraordinary Battles
“Personally, there have been attacks in the last year from the inside and outside that I didn’t see coming. Can you relate? There have been major attacks on my body, church and ministry. I’ve had close friends totally misunderstand me, loved ones pass away, family members stricken with illness, etc. I could go on and on. I believe that some of you can as well!
“What I’ve noticed throughout this particular battle is that those who really love you will support you through it all. I am grateful for them and you should be too. During this time, you may experience a spirit of loneliness, even while you’re among a group of people. This is a major part of Satan’s strategy. He wants you to believe that you’re all alone in this unusual war, but I’m here to tell you that you’re not!
“Though this attack is not ordinary, you will make it through. The secret is found within your decree. Though the attacks are coming fast and hard, you must consistently decree the Word of God, by faith, to counteract the assault of the enemy! When words are decreed, they are established.
“Along with that establishment comes power. When combined with the matchless and mighty name of Jesus, you become a force to be reckoned with; a threat to the kingdom of darkness. It’s your season to put the devil on the run! This is the time that he will run (flee) from you instead of the opposite way around. Glory to God!
“I want to encourage those who are going through the same unusual war that I am, ‘This too shall pass!’ The Lord is always with you even through this warfare that is not ordinary. You will make it through! Please understand that losing a battle here and there does not mean you’ve lost the war. Jesus won every war, just for you.” (John Veal)
“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” (Job 22:28; KJV)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
- Thank the Lord for new prophetic voices rising up to encourage the Body of Christ in this season of strong spiritual warfare.
- Thank the Lord for this encouraging word by John Veal. Intercede for him to overcome in his needed victory, even as you decree your way through yours.
- Rally yourself! Don’t grow weary! Don’t let the enemy steal your joy! Don’t let the enemy isolate you! Encourage someone else who is in a tough battle, too.
- Declare, “This battle may be tough, but through it I am learning much about overcoming Satan’s tactics. This too shall pass!”
A prayer you can pray:
God, it is amazing how many new prophetic people are coming onto the scene. It is as if You are Holy-Ghost highlighting them. You are making room for their voices, because their gift of encouragement is so needed right now. This season of spiritual warfare has been so hard. John Veal is one of those new voices. We thank You for him. We can relate to what he is saying. As he is encouraging us, we ask You to answer his prayers for breakthrough. Holy Spirit, carry his decrees to the mark they are intended to hit, Let him see the answers to every one of his prayers. God, let our faith arise and our enemies be scattered! We will encourage ourselves in the Lord! We will run and not be weary. We will walk and not faint! We will see the salvation of our God! We will encourage one another, writing and calling and texting each other to remind each other of God’s promises to us. We will help each other, and through that love and unity, we are going to see victory after victory. Our battles may be tough, but through them we are learning much about overcoming satan’s tactics. This too shall pass! Thank You in advance for the victories, Jesus! Amen.
