God is Restoring it All!

“You know, Mike and I had such a year of joyful increase. We took the word about reset, restoration, and restitution seriously. In fact, Mike and I always do this: we sow into the word; we give offerings. The Bible says that ministers are worthy of double honor, so we personally believed; we started giving cash offerings to different people we knew. We began to sow and sow. We cast our bread upon the waters, and God just brought it back on every wave. It’s amazing. I had spent some money, and we were at a point where we needed a blessing to come; then I found some money I didn’t even know I had. God is just wonderful to us. 

“Going into the Promised Land was a reset for the children of God. That was an alignment coming into their destiny as a people. When we heard this word, Mike and I knew we needed to reset. There were things that we owned that were broken. There were things I had that we were not able to get fixed. I had a cute little car. Four years ago, I had an accident in that car, and I said, ‘Lord, this is a year of reset for that car.’ We took it in, and we got it fixed for way cheaper than they said. I am driving it now. We were able to work out the problems. And you know what? We had a reset. I mean, it is a little thing. But to me, it was something that was fun. It was something I really loved to drive. So, from four years ago, I had a reset. And God wants to do that for your life.”

“Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy.” (Isaiah 61:7; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

• Lack often brings shame. Bring any shame to the Lord.
• When the enemy steals from you, it can make you feel vulnerable. Ask the Lord to be your strong tower and the place of refuge you can run into and be glad.
• When someone breaks your trust or betrays you, you can harden your heart, close off your life, or even grow bitter. If any of these are happening in your life. Run to His throne of grace to find grace to help in time of need.
• Is there an area of your life where you just haven’t been able to move forward? Command the way open before you! Say, “The Lord wants to bless me in this area. I am moving forward!”
• Declare, “God is calling this nation forward into its destiny. No weapon formed against it shall prosper!”

A prayer you can pray:

Jesus, You are the shame taker. You are the way maker. You are the One that makes a way when there seems to be no way. It does not matter what Satan has taken. He can’t keep it. Your Word is clear. You want to bless me in this area. I am moving forward! The double portion is coming back into the void. Instead of  shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor we shall rejoice in our lot; therefore in the land we shall possess a double portion; we shall have everlasting joy. We are going to sow. We are going to sow extravagantly! We are going to sow financially. We are going to sow relationally. We are going to sow into people. We are going to sow into missions. We are going to sow into the needs of our communities. We are going to sow into the poor. We are going to sow into election campaigns. We are going to sow by serving others. We are going to sow in intercession. We are going to sow with great joy! We are going to sow and see a harvest in our personal lives and in this nation. You are calling this nation forward into its destiny. No weapon formed against it shall prosper! Kingdom come and will of God be done in this nation, even as it is in heaven, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Our loving Father wants to reset and restore big, national things, and small, personal things.
