The Glory!

“The glory of God isn’t just a feeling, an event or an Old Testament experience—it’s a spiritual tsunami of everything contained in the character of God. It has been called the manifested presence of God, but more than just a presence, it’s power. The kind of power that resurrects, delivers, overcomes and transforms. It is greater and stronger than any other power in existence. And it belongs to us.

Maybe you feel like the glory of God is untouchable, unreachable or reserved for special church services. But, the power of God is available to you 24/7—to manifest in your life, your church and your country.” (Kenneth Copeland)

Here are some scriptures put together to give us a beautiful picture of God’s Glory: 

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims Your handiwork. Jesus is the Word that became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. The glory that you gave Jesus, You have given to us, that we may be one even as You are one. You, O Lord, are a shield about us, our glory, and the lifter of our heads. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. For from You and through You and to You are all things. To You be glory forever.

“Jesus said to her, ‘Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?’” (John 11:40; NKJV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Thank God for His Glory!
  • Look up all the scriptures you can find on His Glory and declare them out loud. 
  • Declare His Glory is coming to America!
  • See the Glory fill homes and churches and schools, and businesses. See it fill the streets and government buildings, TV and radio stations, and sporting events.
  • Worship Him in the Glory that falls as you make those declarations.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, we thank You for the oil of Your Glory! Lord, spray the oil of Your Glory all over this nation. Let that oil seep into every neighborhood. Let it seep into homes. Let it seep into government buildings. It’s going to flow through campuses and universities, high schools and grade schools. It’s going to go into churches that are dry. It’s going to rejuvenate people who have grown spiritually dry and become bound up. It’s going to penetrate and restore marriages. This nation is going to be saturated with the oil of the Father’s Glory. We call forth the Zoe Life of God. Let Your Glory cause life to spring forth everywhere, Lord. Nothing can hold Your Glory back when You decide to pour it out. It effects change wherever it shines forth. Individuals are changed, marriages are changed, churches are changed, cities are changed, nations are changed. Let the Glory of the Lord wash through our nation from sea to shining sea in Jesus Name. Amen.
