Intergenerational Agreement
God has said to me, “Come into agreement and lay hold of those things that I started ‘back then.’ Get your generation to grab the baton and say, ‘We’re going to run the next lap and we’re going to be sure that what He started back then He can finish now.’ When you do that, you are bringing more than just what you can offer.” God said, “That offering produces the synergy of the ages. I will not only add, but I will multiply power to do it.” That’s what synergy is. It’s a biblical term. God loves unity, cooperation, and inter-generational agreement so much that He created a principle that I am not sure anybody can ever fully understand. When the Church works together, across the generations, He multiplies power. If I can lift 100 pounds and you can lift 100 pounds separately, we can lift 300 pounds as we work together. Maybe more. This is because He created this force called synergy.
“He keeps His covenant promises forever and remembers the word He spoke to a thousand generations—The covenant He made with Abraham and His sworn oath to Isaac, his son. Then God confirmed it to Jacob—decreed it so—to Israel He promised a never-ending covenant.” (Psalm 105:8-10; VOICE)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
- Take a little time each day and read through the documents below. Come into synergistic, inter-generational agreement with what our Founders believed God wanted for our nation and for generations of American citizens that would follow, including you and your household.
- You can find the Declaration of Independence here.
- Go here to find a copy of the U. S. Constitution.
- Here is the Bill of Rights, the first 10 amendments to the Constitution.
A prayer you can pray:
Father, I come into agreement with the concept of inter-generational synergy. I align myself with the prayers of those who have come before me in this nation. I agree with the plan they laid out for America in our founding documents, the Declaration of Independence, the U. S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. These are living documents that were written after seeking You for Your direction. Even as they came into a place of holy cooperation with You and one another to form them, I will carry the words forward in intercession and decree day by day. I believe the nation will settle into Your plan once again, as the Ekklesia does this all across the land! In Jesus’ Name, amen.
Today’s decree:
God keeps His covenant promises forever and remembers the word He spoke to a thousand generations! From generation to generation, America will praise the Lord!
