70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 42

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

REBUILDING THE WALL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN OUR NATION, STATES, AND TERRITORIES – 52 Day State Prayer Focus: Day 24: Maine, March 15, 1820

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for He founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false.  He will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God his Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob.

Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. “But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall. Then you will trample down the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things,” says the Lord Almighty.”  (Malachi 4:2-3; NIV)

“The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.” (Proverbs 4:18; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Decree the above Scriptures over our nation and the State of Maine.
  • Pray for Maine’s Governor Janet T. Mills and all governmental authority in this State. Pray for this state to be plumbed in righteousness.
  • 52 Day State Prayer Focus: Maine.
  • Statehood: March 15, 1820 (23rd State).
  • Motto: Dirigo (I Direct).
  • Familiar Name: The Pine Tree State.
  • 50-State Tour: The East Gate for the King (July 12-13, 2004).                                                      
  • Decree the Preamble of the State of Maine: “We the people of Maine, in order to establish justice, insure tranquility, provide for our mutual defense, promote our common welfare, and secure to ourselves and our posterity the blessings of liberty, acknowledging with grateful hearts the goodness of the Sovereign Ruler of the Universe in affording us an opportunity, so favorable to the design; and imploring God’s aid and direction in its accomplishment, do agree to form ourselves into a free and independent State, by style and title of the State of Maine and do ordain and establish the following Constitution for the government of the same.”

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we come into agreement with your kingdom plan and purposes for our nation and State of Maine. Maine, you are the East gate to our nation. You are known as a conservative state on fiscal issues, but you have missed the mark on the social issues. You have passed legislation contrary to the Word of God. Your people have voted unrighteously. We call you to come to your senses–remember who you are and whose you are. You are the womb of the dawn…the womb of the morning…the womb of the nation. In this year of birthing, the Lord wants you to give birth to righteousness. Father, we ask You to draw this state with your cords of lovingkindness, so that a true spirit of repentance would come forth. Lord, we ask you to take hold of the hearts of the people of Maine and turn them toward righteousness. Righteousness exalts a nation. He will hear from heaven and heal your land. We call Maine into the original intent of her birthright and prophetic destiny as ordained by Almighty God. Lord, we decree and agree with these words that have been released over the State of Maine.

“We’re here to say the east gate WILL open up. ‘Lift up your heads oh you gates; be lifted up you everlasting doors, the King of Glory SHALL come in!’ Prophetically, God will develop a strategy for Maine over these verses and He will release it to this state because the King of Glory SHALL come in. The King is coming to Maine! The Lord of Hosts, Lord Sabaoth, wants to come into this nation and it appears to me that God is saying, (in order) for the Lord Sabaoth to come in, the East gate must open up.

“Psalm 110:1-3 is a word for Maine. ‘The Lord said to my Lord, sit at My right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies! Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your power; in the beauty of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth.’ The Lord would say to you, ‘Maine, I have chosen you for such a time as this, for you will war at the gate and there will be a Kingdom anointing that falls in Maine that represents My Kingdom plan that no other place in this land has seen. You are the womb of My morning. …I am anointing you with the breaking anointing upon you and before the sun would set on this nation My Son will rise over Maine.’” (Chuck Pierce)

“I’m going to say it this way, ‘The breakthrough came in Maine. The birthing came at the sunrise. It’s a new day. The Northeast is the womb of the nation. And if you can get the womb open a birth will come.’ I felt He is saying, ‘I have brought you to the womb of the nation to bring it forth. You’re already pregnant. I want to bring forth something. There’s a war going on to keep a nation from being born and I’m trying to break the water. I’m trying to pour it forth, so a birth can happen and we can come forth and see the face of God.’ America, Maine (and) New England can say, “He is My God,” again.’ In Psalm 110 the phrase, ‘womb of the morning’ is followed with ‘thy youth are to thee like dew.’ He talks about birthing and then goes right to the youth. Volunteer soldiers–Nazarites. Part of what we’re birthing here…part of what God is going to launch from Maine is this youth revival.” (Dutch Sheets)

Maine you are the Womb of this nation. We say to the womb of the nation be healed and restored, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The 70 Day Decree:

Lord God, we present ourselves unto You a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). We acknowledge and declare that we are filled with the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:11). Your Word tells us that righteousness exalts a nation (Proverbs 14:34). We stand before You in the land You have given us, and we decree and release the righteousness of Christ into our territories, spheres of influence, our cities, states, and nation in order to bring healing, revival, awakening, and reformation to America. Father, let Your Spirit of righteousness be released and established in us, and in every place in which You have given us jurisdiction. Let Your righteous Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10)! Prepare the soil of this nation and realign us with Your righteousness! In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
