70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 41

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

REBUILDING THE WALL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN OUR NATION, STATES, AND TERRITORIES – 52 Day State Prayer Focus: Day 23: Alabama, December 14, 1819

For Zion’s sake, for Jerusalem’s sake, for the United State of America’s sake, let us not remain silent till her righteousness shines out like the dawn and her salvation like a blazing torch. Let us lift our voice in righteousness, watchmen of the Lord, and never be silent day or night until the Lord establishes His righteous decree in our land. Let the prayer bowls be tipped releasing healing, revival, awakening and reformation in our nation.

“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow. You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God. No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married. As a young man marries a maiden, so will your sons marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.” (Isaiah 62:1-7; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

  • Decree the above Scriptures over our nation and the State of Alabama.
  • Pray for Alabama Governor Kay Ivey and all governmental authority in this State. Pray for the judicial system to be aligned with righteousness.

  • Statehood: December 14, 1819 (22nd state).
  • Motto: Audemus Jura Nostra Defendre (We Dare Defend Our Rights).
  • Familiar Name: The Heart of Dixie.

  • Decree the Preamble of the State of Alabama: “We the people of the State of Alabama, invoking the favor and guidance of Almighty God, do ordain and establish the following Constitution.”

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we come into agreement with Your kingdom plan and purposes for our nation and State of Alabama. We call Alabama into the original intent of her birthright and destiny as ordained by Almighty God. Alabama, we recognize you as The Reformer and the Justice State, bringing righteous change, change, change in the land! Lord, let Your true justice and the rule of God be established in this state and our nation.

Alabama, we declare you are “Beauty”–“‘The spirit of infirmity that is dwelling on this state will break,’ saith the Lord. ‘The birthing that needs to come forth for this nation will come forth…you will become the Gate Beautiful and Alabama will be known as the one that rose from the ashes and became a beautiful gate to this land.’” (Chuck Pierce, 50 State Tour)

Alabama, we declare you are the “Gates of Justice”. “In these gates where there is so much injustice locked up, I am opening the gates to usher in Justice to the South…Justice is coming through the Southern Gates.” (Negiel Bigpond, Yuchi Peace Chief, 50 State Tour)

Alabama, we declare you are the “Reformer”. “I keep hearing the word ‘reform’–the ability to reform. There is a reforming anointing on Alabama, a true Hezekiah reformer anointing, the ability to tear down the old and establish the new. That’s what the reformers do. They deal with the old and bring in the new.”

Alabama, we declare you are the “Voice”. “Ask the Lord for a full voice in Alabama – to become a complete, forerunning, reforming people with a full voice to deal with the old and bring in the new.” (Dutch Sheets, 50 State Tour)

Father, we decree that the State of Alabama will go all the way and possess the inheritance that You ordained for her before the foundations of the earth. We thank you that Alabama carries a double portion of governmental authority. Alabama, the Lord is mantling you afresh in this new era with His apostolic and prophetic anointing. Alabama, you are the Beautiful Gate. Your Gates of Justice are open and the voice of the true reformer is rising in the land. You are the thicket-clearer who will pioneer a path of true reform for other states to follow. Your governmental voice will rise in this nation to be a catalyst and precedent of change. In Jesus Name, Amen.

The 70 Day Decree:

Lord God, we present ourselves unto You a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). We acknowledge and declare that we are filled with the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:11). Your Word tells us that righteousness exalts a nation (Proverbs 14:34). We stand before You in the land You have given us, and we decree and release the righteousness of Christ into our territories, spheres of influence, our cities, states, and nation in order to bring healing, revival, awakening, and reformation to America. Father, let Your Spirit of righteousness be released and established in us, and in every place in which You have given us jurisdiction. Let Your righteous Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10)! Prepare the soil of this nation and realign us with Your righteousness! In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
