70 Days – Righteousness Exalts a Nation – Day 40

GiveHim15 will be collaborating with Love Ministries in a very special 70-day prayer focus. We are going to take a stand for righteousness in the United States of America  from February 9th through Passover, April 19th.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34; NASB)

REBUILDING THE WALL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN OUR NATION, STATES, AND TERRITORIES – 52 Day State Prayer Focus: Day 22: Illinois, December 3, 1818

Thank the Lord for His mercy and grace that He continues to pour out upon us as a nation and a people. His eyes are upon us and His ears are attentive to the cry of the righteous! Let us remain steadfast in our assignments!

“For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. You have acted foolishly in this. Indeed, from now on you will surely have wars.” (2 Chronicles 16:9; NASB)

How deep the Father’s love for us
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure

How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
Bring many sons to glory

Behold the man upon a cross
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers

It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life.

“The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.” (Psalm 34:15-17; NASB)

“The Lord said, “Go up and down through the streets of Jerusalem. Look around and see for yourselves. Search through its public squares. See if any of you can find a single person who deals honestly and tries to be truthful. If you can, then I will not punish this city.” (Jeremiah 5:1; NET)

Give Him 15 minutes of prayer:

• Decree the above Scriptures over the people of God and our nation.
• Pray for those in governmental authority that are pushing pro-choice and liberal legislation. Pray for their hearts to be turned unto righteousness.
• Pray for Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and First Lady MK Pritzker.
• 52 Day State Prayer Focus: Illinois (Algonquian: “man”).
• Statehood: December 3, 1818 (The 21^st State).
• Motto: State Sovereignty, National Union.
• Familiar Name: The Prairie State.
• 50-State Tour: The Apostolic State (August 26-27, 2003).
• Decree the Preamble of the State of Illinois: “We, the people of the State of Illinois — grateful to Almighty God for the civil, political and religious liberty which He hath so long permitted us to enjoy, and looking to Him for a blessing upon our endeavors to secure and transmit the same unimpaired to succeeding generations — in order to form a more perfect government, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessing of liberty to ourselves and our posterity; do ordain and establish this constitution for the State of Illinois.”

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we come into agreement with your kingdom plan and purposes for our nation and State of Illinois. We call Illinois into the original intent of her birthright and destiny as ordained by Almighty God. Illinois, you are the Lord’s apostolic state. You are a place of government, where plans are given. You are a prototype for what God wants to do in the rest of the nation. Illinois, may you understand your times and season. Reform is upon you in many areas…but I AM, is calling for righteous reform.

Chicago, there is innocent blood crying out from your streets. There are areas in your city that have reached their vertical limit. These are death zones above the vertical limit of endurance where the human body cannot survive for long. There are the war torn places within you where darkness rules. I have searched through your city and found a righteous remnant.  I have heard the cry of the mothers and the grandmothers and the brothers and sisters. The Blood of Christ speaks a better word. I am raising up righteous reformers in your darkest hour. I will remove the defilement from your land and break the agreement with a death culture.

Father God, we ask you to pour out your love and the Spirit of Adoption upon this city and state. Let the ungodly structures and rulers be overturned. Righteousness exalts a city, state, and nation! We decree: “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their cry; the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.”

“Demons are going to be disempowered in a new way. Breakthroughs are going to come. Deliverance is going to come. People are going to be set free. Every ministry, every church, everyone is going to be afforded the opportunity,’ the Lord says, ‘to go to another level of connecting (across) denominational lines, racial lines, genders lines. I’m going to do it all,’ He says. ‘I’m going to connect you at another level. Streams are going to come together.’ The Lord says, ‘The grace is coming on the place, the grace is coming on the place.’ ‘I’m telling you, you’re going to go to another level of getting fish, keeping fish, mentoring fish, discipling fish because you’re going to have healthy nets,’ the Lord says.” (Chuck Pierce, 50 State Tour)

Let the Word of God and the decree of the righteous come alive in this State and fulfill their assignments. Lord, we ask that you align the State of Illinois and her seven mountains of society in Your righteousness. In Jesus Name, Amen.

The 70 Day Decree:

Lord God, we present ourselves unto You a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). We acknowledge and declare that we are filled with the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:11). Your Word tells us that righteousness exalts a nation (Proverbs 14:34). We stand before You in the land You have given us, and we decree and release the righteousness of Christ into our territories, spheres of influence, our cities, states, and nation in order to bring healing, revival, awakening, and reformation to America. Father, let Your Spirit of righteousness be released and established in us, and in every place in which You have given us jurisdiction. Let Your righteous Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10)! Prepare the soil of this nation and realign us with Your righteousness! In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
