The Courts are Being Re-seated

Something that’s happening under the radar right now is that conservative judges are being placed in large numbers on the lower federal courts. I believe the greatest legacy of President Trump will be the shifting of the judicial system.  I have said this many times before and I will not stop saying it, but the United States’ judiciary system is the one area where the enemy can walk right in and shift the culture of the land, shift the morals of the land, and shift the country away from the very heart of God. It has been stated that you cannot legislate morality, so we Christians should just step back from government and let progress happen. The reality is that we legislate morality with every decision that comes before our Congress and our courts. Our Congress is meant to make laws. That’s a matter of prayer, as well, however, our courts were never supposed to be making decisions that end up to be the law of the land. The power of the judiciary bench has been running unchecked and everything godly and righteous has been run over and cast aside. This is going to end with this presidency. President Trump is seating conservative judges and justices as quickly as the Congress will allow him to. He is making sure there are as many conservative, pro-life judges on the federal benches, as possible. This not only strengthens the judiciary now, but it gives many conservatives justices an opportunity to be placed in line for future Appeals Court and Supreme Court appointments. Our courts could be conservative for generations, if he continues fill those vacant seats.

“You call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” (Proverbs 2:3-6; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

• Intercede for President Trump’s judicial appointments. Ask God to grant him wisdom.
• Call forth Christian advisors for our President who are filled with wisdom and the fear of the Lord.
• Pray that he puts the right judges in the right seats and fills as many as possible.
• Ask the Lord to keep conservative judges solid in their commitments to stand for life and that abundantly. Intercede for them to know Christ, if they don’t already.
• Call all three branches of government into their Constitutionally-designed and limited roles.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, You love wisdom and from Your mouth come knowledge and understanding. Appoint advisors and counselors to President Trump who know You and fear You, those filled with the Holy Spirit and the fear of the Lord. Help President Trump know how to fill the empty judicial seats, so many of which are open at this time. May his advisors help him make good decisions so our courts are set with those who can make righteous decisions for this nation. We need those in place who can be chosen to serve on the Supreme Court someday. May the roles of those serving in our three branches of government be honored as at the beginning. May those elected and appointed stay in their Constitutional boundaries. Order, Lord, bring order once again in Jesus’ name. Amen.
