A Year of Seeing His Goodness in the Midst of Warfare

“This year is about moving vision into reality. You are going to start seeing God’s movement advance forward. Say, ‘I am going to get in this and I am going to receive.’ Whenever you give this year, as you lay your offering down, see that which has been born breathe in a new way. I know the way God moves and I know His signs. It is so important to see what He is doing right now. It is amazing, this day we are in. You are about to be used in ways you’ve never been used. There are things in you that God is going to cause to come alive, and it is going to come out of your mouth. Some of you will operate in redemptive prophecy. You will decree a thing and watch it come to pass. You will know what should have been, so you will decree a thing and it’s going to happen. You will experience God’s goodness. In the midst of all of this warfare, you will see His goodness.” (Chuck Pierce)1

“I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” (Psalm 27:13; NASB)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Worship the Lord for we have entered a season to see His goodness in the midst of the warfare!
  • Say, “I am going to get in this advancing movement and I am going to receive.”
  • Tell the Lord that you are ready to be used by Him in any way that He chooses. Tell Him you are open to any spiritual gift He wants to give you, especially that you may prophesy.
  • Intercede for your thinking and your will to line up with the Word. 
  • Declare God’s redemptive Word over situations that must be undone.

A prayer you can pray:

God, we choose to rejoice in the midst of the warfare. We choose to see Your goodness in this nation in the the midst of the madness. We choose to experience the shift of our will to line up with Yours. Your goodness will define our path. Your judgement over our enemies will come down in the midst of our path.  In the place of experiencing Your goodness, we will rule in the midst of our enemies. We choose Your heart in place of our own human, earth-bound thinking. Enemies that have stood before the Church in prior seasons will get smacked down in this season. We may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, but there’s nothing to fear. We will see that You are with those in this nation who know and honor You. We will see people set free by Your gifts flowing through Your Ekklesia. We will even be set free from a spirit of death. It is a season of redemption! Thank you, Jesus! Amen.

We will see the goodness of God in the land of the living!
