Day of Worship
There is a lot going on in the nation and in the spirit realm right now. At times like this, I just want to worship Him. I hope you do too. Between spiritual storms, political storms, and physical storms, sometimes we have to stop, rest, and worship. So, today is going to be that day. John Thurlow wrote an amazing song, “Storm All Around You”, about the throne of God existing within a storm of lightnings and thunderings. God is not moved by storms. He loves the power and the glory of the storm so much that He chooses that to be His environment! He is Prince of Peace in the midst of it all. He desires us to come in close to Him and be able to worship in the midst of the storm. It displays a faith that the enemy cannot stand. Satan has to move out of the way when the people of God worship in the midst of the storm. At that point, our faith is unstoppable.
Let these verse guide your worship:
“From the throne came flashes of lightning and the rumble of thunder. And in front of the throne were seven torches with burning flames. This is the sevenfold Spirit of God.” (Revelation 4:5; NLT)
“Turn to the LORD! He can still be found. Call out to God! He is near.” (Isaiah 55:6;CEV)
“When the tempest passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous is established forever.” (Proverbs 10:25; ESV)
“When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.” (Psalm 34:17-20; ESV)
Today’s decree:
I will worship You, Lord, in the midst of the storms I face and the storms my nation faces! To You be the glory!
