Satan’s Opposition Against the Saints
God decrees that changes are happening. God decrees, “This is going to change! I am coming to do this thing! I’m going to move in the nation! I’m going to restore!” The minute Satan hears that, he starts to plan to move against the Church. He moves against the Church because God works through the Church. Satan tries to get us weary and to distract us in any way he can. Sometimes, he just gets us off track through bad theology. He also works through our ignorance of what is happening. He tries to deceive us, so that what God has decreed can no longer happen. When God makes a promise to us, it is not always guaranteed. It can be conditional on what we do, how we respond, whether we will carry out the Word. This can be expected in the battle for the Courts.
“He will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law.” (Daniel 7:25a; NASB)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
- Read Ephesians 6:10-18. This is the passage on the full armor of God. Pray through it out loud and ready yourself for spiritual battle for the Supreme Court.
- Ask the Lord for supernatural grace to stay focussed.
- Consider fasting social media, news outlets, or other things that could be a distraction to hearing Holy Spirit clearly.
- Many believers are basing their belief system on politics instead of the Word of God right now. Intercede for the Church to be able to lay political views aside and come into unity over the Word of God.
A prayer you can pray:
Lord, we recognize that we are in a spiritual battle. Satan is looking to win this one, because at least a generation is at stake, if not a number of generations of Americans coming up behind us. Life, justice, truth, and righteousness are at stake and we must war with spiritual weapons to win this battle for the Supreme Court. Grant Your Church supernatural grace and strength to focus. Turn us aside from distractions that can sway our mindsets one way or another. We must have the mind of Christ. Help us to pray at all times, as Apostle Paul encourages us to in Ephesians 6:18. We need to hear Holy Spirit telling us how to pray, so we hit the mark with our intercession. Remove our prideful opinions based on our politics. Our thoughts must be Yours and must be based on Your Word. Then, the enemy cannot manipulate us or turn us against each other. Make us one, so You can command a blessing over our nation, Jesus! If we are one in You, we will encourage each other and the enemy won’t be able to wear us out! Amen.
Today’s decree:
God is moving in to change the Supreme Court and change the nation!
