Living and Breathing or Sound Legal Document
The Constitution is a legal document. Like all legal documents, it says some things and doesn’t say other things. Former Congressman, Tom Delay, said of the Supreme Court, “We have a judiciary run amok.” Former Chief Justice Rehnquist said about the Court many years ago in 1985, “It is impossible to build sound constitutional doctrine upon mistaken understanding of constitutional history. The ‘establishment clause’* has been expressly freighted with Jefferson’s metaphor for nearly forty years. There is simply no historical foundation for the proposition that the framers intended to build a wall of separation between church and state. The recent court decisions are in no way based on either the language or the intent of the framers.”
“If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.” (Proverbs 28:9; ESV)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
- Thank God for Supreme Court justices and Congressmen who know the truth about the Constitution and the Supreme Court and proclaim it for the world to hear.
- Command that every decision made without underlying support in the Constitution will be rolled back over time!
- Say that the wall of separation between church and state is a fictional one and it is coming down!
A prayer you can pray:
Father, we thank you for government leaders, even Supreme Court Justices who know the truth about our high court’s actions. They have spoken strong words to alert the people that the Court is overplaying its role. They have sounded the alarm to let us know that judgements they have made have been based on false premises and should be corrected. We command the reversal of those decisions. We know that will take time and we are okay with that, but the sooner, the better. The most influential lie has been the “separation of church and state” lie. It is causing some of the worst damage and we ask for that one to be exposed now! In Jesus’ name, amen.
Today’s decree:
The lie of the separation of church and state will be fully exposed and undone!
