Pray for Organizations Ministering at the Supreme Court
Pray for Allan E. Parker and The Justice Foundation, practicing before the Supreme Court to protect the fundamental freedoms and rights essential to the preservation of American society, often free of charge. Pray for Jay Sekulow and the American Council for Law and Justice (ACLJ), which does a similar thing. “Pray for Phillip Jauregi and the Judicial Action Group, which deal with judicial nominations. They are Christian-based, seeking to support the best judges who will restore righteousness and justice to America. Pray for another group doing similar work called the Judicial Crisis Network. Pray also for the Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation, who also play important roles in that process.” (Allan E. Parker)1
“But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.” (Amos 5:24: ESV)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
- Intercede one by one for the individuals and organizations mentioned above.
- Ask God to grant the constitutional attorneys great favor in the courts, especially in the Supreme Court.
- Ask God to give Phillip Jauregi and others doing similar things, more widespread influence as they make known the character and background of judicial appointees.
- Pray that Believers presenting cases at the Supreme Court will gain greater respect and honor as they glorify God in the way they present religious liberty cases before the Court.
A prayer you can pray:
Lord, I intercede for the Christian constitutional attorneys and others that minister before the Supreme Court. Grant them favor, grace, and supernatural wisdom to know how to present their cases. Let the justices gain great respect for them and listen to their arguments on behalf of the saints and others fighting for religious liberty. I also pray for those who minister alongside and influence the activities of the Court. Help them to know how to share with the Church the things we need to know to pray well for cases being presented, judges being nominated, and other constitutional issues being decided. We say, “Grace, grace, grace, to them, Jesus.” Amen.
Today’s decree:
Let justice roll down like waters in this nation, and righteousness like an ever flowing stream!
