The Year of Overflow

“This is a year of such overflow! 5778/2018 will be the year we will remember as the year of blessing and outpouring. In Genesis 22:17, the Word says, ‘In blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply you.’ Some of you don’t understand the significance of the way this was said by the Lord. He said it like this, ‘Blessing I will bless you and multiplying I will multiply you.’ This is not just saying you are going to be blessed, but you are going to have a super-abundance of blessing. It means you are going to have supernatural abundance. In our Greek mindset, we think God can only provide for us in the ways we can see or the ways we know. However, in the coming year, God is going to give you supernatural ideas, creative ideas. You have to receive it.” (Cindy Jacobs)1

“’In blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the seashore.’” (Genesis 22: 17a; NKJV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Thank the Lord for His Word! Thank Him for the promises He makes to us in His Word! Thank Him for the faith to believe and receive the promises in His Word!
  • Ask the Lord to begin to reveal His creative ideas in His people. Pray that His ideas for our families are revealed. Ask for innovative business ideas to come from heaven to earth. Pray for increased creativity in the arts and entertainment arena. Pray for the release of creative solutions for systemic problems to those in government. Pray for our education system to be completely revamped with unique ideas to educate our young at every level. Intercede for the Church to invade the religion mountain with God’s creativity to reach and disciple the lost, and expand His Kingdom in this nation.
  • Ask Him to give you creative ideas in your realm of influence.
  • Declare that His creativity will result in supernatural and super abundant blessings to His children all across this nation!

A prayer you can pray:

Father, our nation can no longer stay stagnant. We have reached that point of desperation where we must take hold of Your Word and believe it and decree it. We must partner with You by faith to act on Your revealed plans. Open the heavens to us and show us the creative ideas You have been waiting until now to pour out. We are watching and waiting. Give us the faith to pursue and implement them. Every area of society needs these blessings. Our children need to see You at work transforming our society as we partner with You to walk in Your super abundant blessings, Jesus! Amen.

Today’s decree:

I decree with the prophets that this is the year the Lord supernaturally blesses His Church with creativity and multiplication in every area of our lives!
