Don’t Run Those Angels Off!

“Go through the Word of God and look for where there are angels at gates. We are in a season of angelic interaction. We’ve come up to the gate and we have to have angels helping us. The Lord has promised angels at specific times in the Bible. He promised angels to take the Israelites through and into the Promised Land in Exodus 23. God essentially told them to not run that angel off. But, the angel didn’t show up until 40 years later when Joshua was getting ready to go up against Jericho. The angel wasn’t needed until then. This year we need angelic help at our gates.” (Chuck Pierce)1

“See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him. If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you. My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out.” (Exodus 23:20-23; NIV)

“The angel answered him, ‘I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.’” (Luke 1:19; NET Bible)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Read Exodus 23: 20-23 and Luke 1:19 above. Meditate on these scriptures for a few minutes and let revelation go deep in you.
  • Activate angelic help for the nation through your intercession.
  • Listen for angelic help – some are the Messengers of God.
  • Ask God to send angels to help us maneuver through what is ahead.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, deepen my understanding of angels, as I read Exodus 23:20-23 and Luke 1:19. The prophets are saying that this nation needs angelic assistance right now. We are a clear gate in history and the enemy is fighting to keep us from passing through it into a promised season. I ask for angels to be released to help us. Let us position ourselves to hear what they are saying to us. Help us understand how they will help us move forward in revelation and ministry, changing America’s future. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.

Today’s decree:

I decree that God is sending an angel ahead of us to guard us and bring us through the gates we are facing. Angels will bring us into the season in the United States that He has prepared for us. I decree that we will pay attention to them and listen to what they say!
