Connecting to the Hearts of the Founders
Over the next few days, I am going to share with you some quotes that will help us know what God intended for this nation. We are going to present these a few at a time and we are going to connect with the hearts and thoughts of the writers, as God revealed His Will to them. Then, we will decree what He said and what they said and we will get synergy. There are tens of thousands of Believers reading this today. Maybe from Hawaii to Maine Believers can lay hold of these upcoming quotes and say, “I agree with that!” Let’s say together, “This is what the Ekklesia is decreeing is going to happen.”
“Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.” (Philippians 2:2; NASB)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
- Repent of anything you are holding against another relationally. Let the Lord show you areas of offense and deal with them at the cross.
- Intercede for someone that you know is hard for you to pray for.
- Now, find a place of agreement with others in the Body of Christ, regardless of minor theological differences. Forgive denominations or congregations that may have accidentally hurt or purposely offended you.
- Keep your heart in this place, prepared to lock arms with Believers now and back through history for the future of America.
A prayer you can pray:
Father, reveal my heart to me. Show me where I am holding offense at others, especially those closest to me. Show me where I am angry or do not trust other brothers and sisters in the Lord. I forgive groups of Christians, denominations, or church bodies that have hurt me or rejected me or slandered me, whether on purpose or accidentally. I choose to love, and know that theological differences will usually not keep us from spending eternity together with You, so we can lay those arguments aside. I determine to open my heart and love, so I can pray together with all Christians, and be the Ekklesia together with them and with those who have lived before us for the future of this nation. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.
Today’s decree:
I decree that Your Ekklesia will fill You with joy completely by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, being united in spirit, and intent on one purpose, which is Your Kingdom manifestation in America!
