Everyday Believers Wielding Extraordinary Authority

There’s a fresh revelation coming to the Church of what it means to be a royal priesthood, to find out what the King is saying and to speak it to planet earth. We are going to say, “This is what the King says. This is the way it’s going to be. We forbid this. We allow this. We open this door. We close this door.” I have been in some of these types of prayer meetings recently. There was an ease in operating in unity. There was a corporate sense that we were gathered not just as worshipers, not just as the Bride, not just as the Body, but as His Ekklesia, His government. Because we gathered like that, with that understanding, the Holy Spirit started speaking to us. Some had dreams that night. They came in and shared them and we knew exactly what He wanted us to do.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:12; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Ask God to give the Church increased revelation of our spiritual authority.
  • Intercede for those the Lord has given great earthly authority to, so that they can receive great spiritual authority to go along with it.
  • Pray that the Ekklesia would hear from heaven, decree what they hear, and operate in supernatural actions.
  • Decree that the wisdom of God and the principles of the Word will be expressed through the body of Christ as a common practice.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, I pray you would give us such revelation of our spiritual authority. Some Believers have great natural authority, as You have placed them in certain positions in this nation. Please show us that there is a higher authority than what we can experience and see on the earth. If we are part of the Believing Church, we are part of a heavenly ekklesia. Show us this in a profound and supernatural way. Let us know what Your will is in the midst of our earthly activities and roles. Let us learn to say, “I decree that the wisdom of God and the principles of scripture are going to come through me today!” In Jesus’ Name, amen.
