Doctrines of Demons

Besides the worship of other gods being popular in the United States today, twisted doctrines about Christ form the basis of other false religions here. Designed to look a lot like Christianity, these “doctrines of demons” are seductive, leading men away from Christ, rather than to Him. Promises are made that “tickle men’s ears.” But the fruit is an eternity separated from Jesus, the one that loves us so much!

“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8-9; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Come to the Lord weeping and mourning for those lost when they think they are safe. They really believe they will be with Jesus for eternity, but they do not know Him as the one and only Son of God and Savior.
  • This kind of deception is tough to break. Intercede for revelation to come to those whose minds have embraced the enemy’s lies. Command light to penetrate the dark, blind places in their spirit.
  • Bind spirits of false doctrines, those lying religious spirits! Command them to let their captives go free in the name of Jesus!
  • Pray again today that God’s Holy Spirit will reveal Jesus to the deceived.
  • And also pray again today that the light of Jesus Christ will permeate their beings and they will know the Truth and the Truth will set them free!

A prayer you can pray:

Jesus! You have paid a dear price in laying down Your life for the wicked and the mocking and the deceived. You and only You have shed Your blood, died and have been resurrected from the dead by the Father. You and only You can claim equality with God the Father and Holy Spirit—Holy Trinity. Light, shine in the darkness! Darkness, you cannot overcome the Light! Light of Christ reveal Yourself to those trapped in the darkness. Let them finally see You, know You and love You, the one they thought they knew all along. Salvation, come! Amen!

Today’s decree:

Jesus will deliver those deceived by false doctrines and deliver them into His glorious light and truth and eternal salvation!
