The Fire that Unites
This nation is a seriously divided nation, racially-speaking. Some keep working hard at unity, but then something always seems to happen to divide us again. The United States once had many small towns of mostly European immigrants with their own languages and cultures dotting the landscape, but over time most melted into one nation. It has always been much harder for people of color. The beauty of our ethnic backgrounds isn’t meant by God to divide us, but to bring a fullness of beauty to America. We need His miraculous move to heal us and make us truly one.
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28; BSB)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
- Declare that every Christian man, woman and child, regardless of race, is a son and daughter of the living God and was bought with the blood of Jesus.
- Declare that we are standing together in the beauty of our racial diversity asking God for awakening in America.
- Pray that all of our cities and neighborhoods would be visited by revival and that not one would be left out!
- Cry out, cry out for revival fires to unify this nation!
A prayer you can pray:
We declare that we are Christians, sons and daughters of the living God. Before our skin pigment, we declare we were bought with the precious blood of Jesus. We are brothers and sisters standing for an awakening in America. Father, we ask that you would send revival fires across the nation, among Latin communities, among Black communities, among Asian and all other minority communities. Together with every other American, we are all in desperate need of You, Lord! Unite us in revival and awakening! In Jesus’ name, amen.
Today’s decree:
God will make us One in Him as He purifies our hearts toward one another in the fires of awakening and revival!
