Kavanaugh Hearings – Day 4

This is the last officially scheduled day of the hearings. Senator Grassley can decide to continue them, but that’s doubtful. Those who have had contact with Kavanaugh will give their testimonies of their relationship with him and/or his actions and statements. They will speak both for him and against him. Ultimately, this entire confirmation process will set the nation on a defined course of history. Either Brett Kavanaugh will be formally presented by the Senate Judiciary Committee to the full Senate for a vote or not. If so, the full Senate will consider his nomination in a few weeks and will vote as to whether or not he will take Justice Kennedy’s place on the Court. Continue to intercede for God’s perfect will for this matter until it is completed.

And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Take authority over any testimony today that is false or planned to be misleading.
  • Say, “The truth will be heard and justice will be preserved!”
  • Pray for the protection of each one coming to testify.
  • Declare, “The Senators on the Judiciary Committee will see and hear what they need in order to make the right decision for America.”
  • Do not stop declaring that God’s perfect will for the Supreme Court and this nation will come to pass.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, I am sure everyone involved with the Kavanaugh hearings is very tired right now. Grant grace to all, that this set of hearings can be completed well. Let everyone be able to pay attention and learn what they need to learn from them. I pray that the testimony today will be 100% truthful. We take authority over any demonic spirit that would seek to twist the truth for political means. Let Judge Kavanaugh’s good character be intact at the end of this process. Let him and his family go on to live peaceful and fruitful lives. Let the Senators on the Committee decide with a yes or no vote whether to recommend him to the full Senate for a vote. May there be no more delay, one way or the other. Jesus, let Your truth and justice reign in this matter, amen.

Today’s decree:

Truth will be revealed and define the course of history for our nation!
