The Victory Belongs to the Lord and the Season of Rest is Coming!

[Tom Schlueter is the Founder of Texas Apostolic Prayer Network. Here he shares with us what he feels the Lord is saying to the nation currently.]

“I see the Church as an army standing at attention on a field of review. I see their flags and different positions. They are all standing at attention and waiting to hear what our Commander has to say. The Commander is a Lion—the Lion of the tribe of Judah. We are in the Hebrew month of Elul. This is the month ‘the King is in the field.’ Christ is calling the Church to be fully awake. I believe He has come to tell us that He is with us. He is leading and guiding us, and this battle is turned. It is not going to turn. It is turned. It has already shifted.

“Texas is a forerunner state. The Lord has given Texas two prophetic Words recently about an axe head. He is saying, ‘The axe head has been sharpened. It is now time to use it.’ There is a sharpened axe that the Lord has already made ready. The army is standing at attention. The Commander-in-Chief, the Lord of Hosts, is in front of us, giving us orders of direction. We will rise up. We will move forward together, and we will see victory. We will come into the fullness of what He has promised.

“We cannot lag behind now. We cannot say, ‘Things have all been taken care of, so let’s sit back and watch.’ No. We are at war and we are going to march toward victory.

“Becca Greenwood is a rising prophetic voice. She recently came to Texas and heard the sound of a trumpet. She sang the notes of the trumpet to her husband who was with her. He told her it was ‘Reveille’. ‘Reveille’ is the U. S. military’s wake-up call. It is saying, ‘Everyone wake up!’ It reminds me of 2 Chronicles, 20, which tells the army of the Lord to gather together, stand firm, and see the salvation of our God. It is this same picture of an army gathered together and ready to go out to war.

“There was a trumpeter in the meeting where Becca gave this Word, and he began to play ‘Reveille’. The Glory of the Lord fell in that meeting as he did so. After he played, he told us that those who play the trumpet professionally call their trumpets ‘the axe’.

“We then understood that as he played, that ‘axe’ was cutting away the darkness in the atmosphere, and cutting away corruption. It was calling the Church, the Ekklesia, to awaken and go to war.”

“You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out to face them, for the LORD is with you.” (2 Chronicles 20:17; NASB)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Call the Body of Christ to attention before the Lion of Judah, our Great King.
  • Say, “Reveille is sounding for the troops to wake up and come into the field to meet the Lord for battle!”
  • Decree, “The victory will belong to the Lord!”
  • Read 2 Chronicles 20. Gain revelation for intercession as you read it.
  • Declare, “The Church will worship, and stand, and see the salvation of our God. We will enter into a season of rest as a nation.”
  • Declare Psalm 47 over the nation!

A prayer you can pray (by, Tom Schlueter):

Lord, we stand at attention before You. You are our Commander-in-Chief. You are guiding Your army to victory! We will go into the battle with You, but even as Jehosaphat discovered, the victory will belong to You. We will go into battle and see the victory that has already been secured. Reveille is sounding. The sound of the trumpet is awakening the troops to go forth into spiritual battle. We will go forth into victory!

In 2 Chronicles 2:20, we read that Jehoshaphat led the Israelites into battle and he said, ‘Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.’ Verse 30 tells us the end result of staying in faith and doing whatever You and Your prophets tell us to do in the season of battle. You say that we will have victory and peace on every side. We believe this and we receive this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s decree:

The trumpet has sounded, the Church is awakened, and we will see the victory of the Lord in the land!
