Worship Jesus and He Will Repel the Enemy at the Gate

“Isaiah 28:17 in the NASB version says, ‘I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the level; then hail will sweep away the refuge of lies and the waters will overflow the secret place.’ Here in Jerusalem, we have been proclaiming this over and over during this time. In Isaiah 28:1, it says, ‘Woe to the proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim, and to the fading flower of its glorious beauty, which is at the head of the fertile valley of those who are overcome with wine!’ I thought of the coronavirus. There is a proud boast in this virus whose name means ‘crown’, but the next verse says it is a fading flower. It goes on in verse 2 and 3, ‘Behold, the Lord has a strong and mighty agent; as a storm of hail, a tempest of destruction, like a storm of mighty overflowing waters, He has cast it down to the earth with His hand. The proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim is trodden under foot.’ I think the Lord is causing things to be revealed because of this virus which is threatening us. I believe the earth is vomiting out the filth and corruption that has been hidden. He’s uncovering secret places where wicked men have hidden their actions. 

“Now, the true crown is revealed in verse 5 and 6, ‘In that day the Lord of hosts will become a beautiful crown and a glorious diadem to the remnant of His people; a spirit of justice for him who sits in judgment, a strength to those who repel the onslaught at the gate.’ So, this is our hope. We are looking to the Lord Himself to be revealed as the beautiful King of Kings. The enemy has counterfeited the crown of the Lord with a coronavirus. We must not turn our gaze from the Lord and the beauty of His majesty. We must realize fully that He is the Spirit of Justice for those that sit in judgement and a strength for those of us that repel the onslaught at the gate. We must want to be His Voice in the earth. We must want to be those worshipers that are even seen in the streets. When we get out in the streets and worship, the Lord is anointing us with His peace. We can bring peace where there are protests. Worship is a key. It steals the power of the counterfeit away from the enemy.”

“Then Jesus said to him, ‘Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.”’” (Matthew 4:10; ESV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Worship Jesus!
  • Declare, “Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords! We worship Him in the beauty of His Majesty!”
  • Declare Isaiah 28:5-6, “We are in that day when the Lord of hosts will become a beautiful crown and a glorious diadem to the remnant of His people; a spirit of justice for him who sits in judgment, a strength to those who repel the onslaught at the gate.”
  • War in the spiritual realm against the “demonic onslaught at the gate” of our nation. Spiritually war in your heavenly language if you have no words.
  • Worship Jesus!
