Thresh Our Hearts, Lord!

[On April 23rd, I participated in the Prophetic Dateline Event hosted by Mike and Cindy Jacobs. Other prophetic friends were on, as well, and beginning with posts on 4/28/20, I wanted to give you a sense of what the Lord is saying through these voices.]

WILL FORD, III

“I delivered a message early this year to a church I was speaking at, entitled, ‘The Threshing Floor’. I told them their church was going to go through a threshing season, but also the nations of the earth were about to be on the threshing floor. Well, that Word surprised me, so I went to the Word myself to see what the Lord said about threshing floors. 

“I found the passage where David went to a threshing floor. It was the year in which he took a census. This year is a census year in America. I am not saying that the taking of our census is responsible in any way for this plague. Rather, the Lord had me look at how David caused the release of a plague over his nation because he was looking to see what kind of a following he had. God told me to look at that area of my life and if there was anything in me looking for the kind of following I have.

“David was sent by the Lord to this threshing floor to build an altar there and respond as a priest. He would have had a censor with him in order to burn incense before the altar At that place, the plague was stayed. The Lord told me he went from the census to the censor. He said to me personally, ‘It’s time for you to shift from the census to the censor. You’ve been taking a census of how many people re-post your stuff on social media, of how many re-tweets, of how many “likes” you get.’ 

“God began to deal with me about not following the cloud, but going after the crowd. He shifted me. He said, ‘It’s time for you to get back to building the ministry from prayer, fasting, and intimacy with Me. You can be on social media, but you can’t be of it, because of what is coming.’  

“Many of us are there. Our churches are getting threshed down from 1000s to 10s. Where that is happening, God is saying, ‘It’s time to go from the census to the censor.’ Look, we’re going to have stadium events. But, it’s not about large crowds. It’s not about chasing numbers. It’s about going after the One. It’s about going after the One personally. It’s about going after the One in our churches. It’s about going after the One in our communities. It’s about going after the One. We need to re-calibrate our hearts toward Him. If you’re counting numbers now, you won’t be able to be used when the real numbers start coming in—the massive harvest of souls. It’s coming to those that will leave the 99 and go after the One, not to those who will leave the One and go after the 99.”

“David said to him, ‘Let me have the site of your threshing floor so I can build an altar to the Lord, that the plague on the people may be stopped. Sell it to me at the full price.’” (1 Chronicles 21:22; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

• Read Matthew 13:24-43. Call for the harvesting angels to be loosed and the great harvest of souls to begin!
• Repent of anything in your heart that desires to be seen and known by men. Get it all out of you, so you will never mistake leading people to Jesus. We are to make Him known.
• Worship Him! Glorify the Name of Jesus. Let His Presence full your heart. Get ready to let that love flow out of you to those who don’t yet know Him.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, we loose the spirit of harvest in Jesus’ Name! We loose the combines and the harvesters with sickles, large and small. We look for stadiums filled with people. We believe it is the time for mass harvest. Lord, recalibrate our hearts. Line them up with Your plumbline so we do not labor to bring souls to ourselves, but to You. We repent of those things in our hearts that cause us to want men to follow us instead of Jesus. We repent of those things in our hearts that cause us to want to feel important. We repent of the way we have used social media to make ourselves known instead of glorifying Jesus! People are looking for answers and they are not found in us. They are found in Jesus! We must promote the Son!

Lord, we cry out for the angels to be released to thrust their harvesting instruments into the earth. We release callings of evangelism! We release men and women into the harvest fields of the earth! We say miracles will flow. Miracles will happen and people will be drawn to Jesus. The hardest hearts will be melted. Those we consider the greatest sinners will be forgiven. The most debilitating illnessses will be healed. All of this will be bursting forth, because it is harvest time! Let our hearts be cleansed and the harvest come forth in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s decree:

The Church of America must repent of looking for a following and go after the One!
