A Window of Opportunity in a Season of Restoration

A number of prophetic voices have been sending me dreams that they have been having. The main theme of these dreams is that we are moving into a season where what God is about to do is going to be contested. These things will be contested in very dramatic ways. The victories we will experience will be dynamic victories. We will win. The Great Awakening is coming. It is time.

In two of the dreams, I have turned to those with me in the dream and said, “It is time.” 

In Acts 3, all three Greek words for time are used. It’s the only place in the New Testament where they are all used together. I want to talk today about two of those words.

One is “chronos”. It is a general word for a season of time. It’s used in 3:21, “times of restoration.” The word “restoration” there, is not just “to restore”, but “to reconstitute something”. A constitution is an original intent—how it is made and how it operates. For example, our nation is supposed to operate according to our Constitution. So we go through seasons where God reconstitutes, or returns things to His original intent. He reconstitutes us to His original intent. We go from glory to glory, from faith to faith. We are changed into the image of Christ. 

In every chronos season, there are kairos seasons. We see this in 3:19. In every season of reconstituting, we come to a kairos. A kairos is a window of opportunity. It is not a guaranteed time, but an opportune time. We are in one now. We can break through into this new era. 

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.” (Acts 3:19-21; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

• Talk to the Lord about some of those things you know are out of order in this nation.
• Agree with the prophets that we have come into a new era—the era of a Great Awakening.
•  Declare that God is reconstituting this nation. He is more than restoring. He is re-forming back to His original plan.
• Release a new sound in agreement with that statement. See that sound go out over the land.
• Say, “We are going to see Your Kingdom come in the earth and in America.”
• Look and see the contention that has come in America to try to stop God’s plan. See that it is contending with Him! Now do you see? Stand in this opportune window and uproot it in Jesus’ Name!
• Declare, “Salvation is coming. The One who saves is coming. Signs and wonders are coming. Life is coming. Healing is coming. It is time!”

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we believe that we have reached a kairos moment in a chronos time in our nation. Some things have become so out of order. However, Your people have been praying and You have been watching for that opportune moment. You are saying it is time to reconstitute this nation. You are restoring us to Your original intent. There is a shifting coming. There is a renewal and rearranging. There is even a new sound coming that will unlock some things as we lift high the Name of Jesus. We are going to see Your Kingdom come in the earth and in America. 

We have repented and we have worshipped. We have acknowledged You as God over this nation. We have glorified Your Name over this land, Jesus. Now, there is going to be an uprooting. You are coming to uproot that which has contended for Your Glory in this nation. What has been contested will be reconstituted and formed the way You have planned it. It is time. Salvation is coming. The One who saves is coming. Signs and wonders are coming. Life is coming. Healing is coming. Let it be now! It is time! We will go through the window! We will decree daily until we see the time of awakening fully come. Praise You, Jesus! Amen.
