Who is Intimidating Who?

When the Lord sends you some place, you are not supposed to go in and start reacting. You are going to go in and start intimidating the powers of darkness. They’re scared of you when you understand who you are. You don’t go in arrogance and you don’t try to intimidate people. You intimidate the powers of darkness. It’s Jesus we are carrying into a place. When Jesus walked into a region or a room, He wasn’t on the defense. Every spirit of darkness was immediately on the defense, because a greater power just showed up. A higher authority just showed up. That’s how things are supposed to be when you show up—in your city or on your assignment or on your job. You are supposed to know that you are carrying the greater One inside of you.

Over the next year, we are going to be gathering in strategic places. We are going to be decreeing, declaring. moving on the offense as watchmen and women. We are laying siege to the powers of darkness that have established themselves and entrenched themselves into parts of this nation. If you think the warfare over this nation and other parts of the earth are intense right now, know this. This is not the year for the faint of heart. Don’t be intimidated by that.  You are not to be intimidated by spiritual warfare. Spiritual warfare just is. The kingdom of darkness is desperately trying to maintain its strongholds, but the Lord is saying, “You have reached a point where you can tear down these strongholds. You can take out these giants. You need to go in and do what I tell you. Do it in My strength and My authority. You are going to win the battles.”

“As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:5b-9; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Think about the enemy’s response when he sees Jesus.
  • Think about that a little bit more.
  • Have you made Jesus your personal Savior and Lord? Is His Spirit indwelling you? If He is with you, what do you imagine the enemy sees when he sees you? Hold that thought.
  • Repent of fear.
  • Repent of any doubt that using the name of Jesus you can route the enemies coming against you or your loved ones.
  • Repent of any unbelief that the works that Jesus did, you can do also.
  • Stir up your most holy faith and get ready to open your mouth and use the Word of the Lord against every enemy you face. You will win the battles. He has already determined the outcome.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, this land, America, is Your land. You established it for Your Divine purposes. We have messed things up a bit. We have allowed things that are not pleasing to You. We have not stopped things that displease You from being established. We have even participated in the wickedness and sin we allowed in. We repent. It is turnaround time.

We repent for thinking we can’t do anything about the spiritual climate of this nation. We repent for thinking our voices won’t be heard. We repent for feeling that the enemy is just too big, strong, prolific, or greater that You are. We have let him intimidate us. We have remained silent at the wrong time. What on earth have we been thinking?! It is time to flip that all over! You are able to deliver us, even from our own created messes. You are the God of the turnaround! You are the one that forgives and forgets. You establish and re-establish, until Your will comes to pass in the earth. You are never out of control. In Your patience and love, You work to realign what we mess up. You have determined the course of things and You will cause Your plans to come to pass. Let Your Church now rise up as Your army in the earth and win battle after battle after battle after battle. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in America, even as it is in heaven. Jesus, be glorified! Amen.

Today’s decree:

In Christ’s strength and authority, we will win every battle He has brought us to!
