America as a Fig Tree

“The Lord spoke to me from a parable in Luke 13:6-9, ‘He also spoke this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and found none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’ But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, good. But if not, after that you can cut it down.’”’ God showed me America as a fig tree. He spoke to me from this parable that there would be an attempt in the third year of the Trump presidency to pull the fig tree up by the roots and look at the fruit of America from that perspective. You have to remember that America is not the same as it was when the nation was founded. So, the Lord said clearly that there would be an attempt to pull up what President Trump represented and to have that removed. I then saw that it was an attempt for him to be impeached. To be clear, the Lord showed me there would be an attempt to impeach President Trump in his third year in office.

“I believe God is currently digging around this whole nation. I think He is saying, ‘How do you want to bring forth this nation? How are you going to bring forth this nation?’ God is saying this to lead us to pray the way that is needed going into this 4th year. It’s about the fruit this nation will produce. It’s about how we seek out what God wants us to bring forth. God doesn’t do anything without first telling the prophets. God is clearly saying, ‘Leave it alone and don’t uproot it. Let’s fertilize it with prayer and see if it bears fruit in the 4th year.” (Chuck Pierce)

“‘Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit.’” (Matthew 12:33; WEB)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Consider the parable of the fig tree. Consider the words the Lord spoke to the prophet, Chuck Pierce. Consider America’s covenant roots.
  • Decide how you are going to intercede. What is the Lord wanting us to participate in? What decision is He making about America. Rightly divide in prayer.
  • Do not let the enemy limit your freedom. Don’t let comments made in the press or by influential people limit your freedom.
  • Find God’s heart for this nation and intercede!

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we speak against the uprooting, the premature uprooting. Don’t let this presidency be uprooted in this third year. We say, “it will not be uprooted this year.” We say there will be such a godly work done instead in this year. Let our voices get louder and louder. Let our expressions of freedom get louder and louder. Lord, we ask You to intervene in some way in the uprooting that is going on in this land. It’s not just about a man. It’s about the uprooting of a righteous root. We can’t allow that. We can’t allow the enemy to shift America away from Your purposes. We won’t break covenant with You, though many others have.

Today’s decree:

America’s covenant root with God will not be uprooted!
