Realigning Chicago, the Place Where the Spirit of Violence is Rooted
“First of all, I love Chicago. Chicago has a lot of conflict stirring over it. There is a lot of redemptive purpose there for the future. Chicago is the key to the Midwest USA. There are spokes coming into Chicago. The Spirit of God is creating new highways into the hub. There is a moment of alignment coming. It is a moment when heaven and earth align and heaven begins to empower the Church. When the empowerment comes, what’s been in ashes and rubble begins to re-form. Everything was once in chaos, but God spoke into the chaos and re-formed it. Chicago has been in ashes and chaos, but God is realigning things.
“This last decade for the Church has been about establishing a new apostolic authority. A new apostolic mantle has been forming. Psalm 102 says, ‘The heavens even change and shed themselves like an old mantle.’ Understand, God is sovereign and there are times where He changes the heavens over an area. God is right now changing the heavens over Chicago. He’s not just trying to transform the city of Chicago. The heavens are transforming over Chicago. Now, we can pull the transformation into the earth realm. God has a determined time for transformation. The next thing that happens is that God builds a new foundation. That new foundation will have God’s order in it. So, what we couldn’t create or accomplish in the last season, we can build in this season. We are not building the Church in this season. We’re unlocking the Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is not built. It is within us. We carry it, and expand it when we release it. When the foundation’s reset, we will be able to build the Church again.” (Chuck Pierce)
“When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.” (Matthew 16:2-3; NKJV)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
- “See” what God is doing in Chicago. Be not dismayed. Separate out what you see in the natural and what the prophets say is occuring. The enemy is angry, but he must leave.
- Praise God for the apostolic work and alignment that has been taking place as the apostolic authority in Chicago has moved forward there.
- Call for the ashes and rubble, violence and chaos in Chicago to settle into how God is re-forming that territory.
- From a place of faith, worship the Lord over the foundation being reset in Chicago that will impact the entire nation.
- If you live in the radius around Chicago along one of the “spokes”, consider seeking the Lord about going in there, and aligning with the apostolic work there.
A prayer you can pray:
Father, open our eyes to see what You have been doing. We must trust Your process. When we don’t know Your ways fully, we see one thing and assume things do not line up with what You are doing. You are at work. You have been causing Your Church to align apostolically with Your plans and purposes. You have sent in apostolically-aligned troops from across the nation and Midwest. You have sent them in, because this reformation of Chicago will affect the whole nation. We praise You for the work of Your hands! We call for the results to manifest. Let the ashes and rubble and violence and chaos in Chicago settle down now. Let it settle right into God’s plans and purposes. Let it become fertilizer for the great harvest that is coming from the Midwest USA. We worship You over all of this, Jesus. Amen.

Chicago will be a sign and a wonder in the nation, as God resets it for Kingdom expansion!
