The Father is Leading Us to Worship in a New Way – Part 9

Are We Worshipping His Way or Ours?

“This year is about moving vision into reality. Look up at Father and say, ‘Father, let me see who You made me to be.’ Quit trying to be who you want to be. That’s what has happened in the Church. We want to worship the way we want to worship. That’s what Cain did. Abel made God preeminent and brought the best sacrifice. Cain brought the sacrifice he wanted to bring. He worshipped in his own way. When that happens, a door opens. Father looked at him and said, ‘Cain, you don’t have to get irked in all this. You can worship me also. You can be just like Abel. If you choose not to, a door of iniquity will open over you.’ So, doors open to us depending on how we worship. I will say it again. The way we choose to worship Him will open one door or the other. It can open a door into a new realm, a new dimension, a new level of wealth expression. Or, it can open a door to iniquity. You can’t break the power of iniquity in your bloodline without worship, because worship is a requirement of preeminence. Now, we can get into patterns of worship, but we lose that sense of preeminence. So, the Lord is saying, ‘Now, I am going to rearrange worship.’ It is so we can bring Him back into preeminence in our lives. We don’t want to decide that we are going to worship a certain way, whether He likes it or not.” (Chuck Pierce)

“After some time Cain brought some of his harvest and gave it as an offering to the Lord. Then Abel brought the first lamb born to one of his sheep, killed it, and gave the best parts of it as an offering. The Lord was pleased with Abel and his offering, but he rejected Cain and his offering. Cain became furious, and he scowled in anger. Then the Lord said to Cain, ‘Why are you angry? Why that scowl on your face? If you had done the right thing, you would be smiling; but because you have done evil, sin is crouching at your door. It wants to rule you, but you must overcome it.’” (Genesis 4:3-7; GNT)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Break any “Cain” spirit off yourself. Decide that you want to please the Father in your worship.
  • Say, “Lord, You can decide how I worship You.”
  • Ask the Lord how He wants you to worship Him. It may have nothing to do with what song you are singing, but it may be an act of worship, or the presenting of an offering, such as we see in this story.
  • See any open doors to iniquities in your life and lineage begin to close, as you worship Him the way He desires to be worshipped.
  • Call for true worshippers of God to rise up, all across this land!
  • Intercede for the Body of Christ in America to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church and to worship God as He desires to be worshipped. Pray for iniquitous structures to break off the nation and for the blessing and favor of God to increase.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, examine my life and heart and reveal to me any place where, like Cain, I have decided and determined the best way for me to worship You. What have I been thinking? It doesn’t matter what style of music I prefer, what amount I can afford to give, or what position I put my body when I come before You. All that matters is if I am pleasing You. How would You like me to express my worship of Your Holiness? Father, how can I best worship You today? If my self-centeredness has caused a door of iniquity to open over my life, I want it shut. Generational iniquitous doors need to be shut. You know how I need to worship You for that to happen. Let Your Holy Spirit reveal to the churches of America how You desire us to worship You and show Your preeminence, so regional and national iniquitous structures can break off us. I call for the true worshippers of God to rise up and lead the way. Let us hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church! May we exalt You and make You preeminent in every gathering! Let the blessing and favor of the Lord come into this land, as Your people worship You in spirit and in truth. Let true worship rise up from sea to shining sea. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.

Today’s decree:

The Ekklesia will break free of the spirit of Cain! We will ask the Father how He would like us to worship Him, and the doors of iniquity will close.
