In Him

It’s remarkable that God is so totally in control of what’s going on. We should never glorify how strong the enemy is. We are going to glorify the One who is in control of every moment of every atom of the universe—the “in Him.” In Him all things are held together—everything, all the time, the whole thing! Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

• Read the above statement and scripture out loud. Now say, “Wow!” Many of you did this spontaneously. Take a few minutes and tell the Lord how amazing He is to you.
• Repent for the times you glorified the enemy’s activities. Ask the Lord to reveal to you why you did. Were you afraid? Were you jumping on the bandwagon? Were you proudly seeking to impress others (even a prayer group) by sharing something you had information about? Just repent.
• Now, make faith statements acknowledging His intimate involvement in every moment of everything, thanking Him along the way for that involvement!

A prayer you can pray:

Wow, God! I don’t stop long enough to really think about how You hold everything together! Everything! You are in complete control, even when things just look crazy all around us. Forgive me when I look at circumstances and, seeing the enemy’s fingerprints all over the place, I glorify his involvement. He is not in control! He loses! We learn. Thank You that You have the answers to every question we could ask about the way things are in this nation. Teach us, train us, lead and guide us. We are dialoguing in prayer with the One Who holds it all together now and will wrap it all up in the end! Thank you, Jesus! Amen.

Today’s decree:

God holds everything together, everything, and He is holding His ultimate plans for this nation in place, as well.
