Not a Time to Be Fearful

When the enemy grows insecure and fearful, he reacts. It’s just like the Canaanites who said, “We better fight these people and we’d better fight hard, because God is going to give them this land if we don’t.” This is what I think is happening right now in America. The Lord told me that the enemy is very fearful. You do not need to be afraid. He said to tell His people that they do not need to be afraid. His enemies are afraid and they are manifesting. What should we do? Pray.

“Remember that I have commanded you to be determined and confident! Do not be afraid or discouraged, for I, the Lord your God, am with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9; GNT)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Pray for our government leaders, as they make important decisions regarding Syria, Russia, North Korea, the Middle East and ISIS.
  • Pray specifically for President Trump, that he won’t make any unwise decisions.
  • Pray for our military leaders that no one proposes an unwise course of action, but that their decisions are wise and protective of our citizens.
  • Be at peace! Be unafraid! Pray unceasingly.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we pray for our government leaders—President Trump, his Cabinet members and our Congressmen—regarding the challenging decisions they will need to make. There are so many hotspots in the world that they are watching, such as Syria, Russia, North Korea, the Middle East and ISIS. Please give our President calm and clear thinking. Help him to listen to wise counsel. Keep the military from taking any course of action that is unwise or premature. We look to You to protect our nation, Jesus. Keep us confident in You and free from all fear. Amen.

Today’s decree:

The Church will remember who we are and Whose we are, and we will strong and courageous and we will not be afraid!
