Great Outpouring on Our Military

I have felt for years that there was a great revival coming to the military bases around the world. There is no more stressful job than what our military families have to endure. We need to pray for them like it was our own family that needed to be born again. Most of us only know secondhand the pressures they have to face—the marriages that go south because of it, the abuse in families because of the stress, the trauma they face when spouses serve on the battlefield, and the stress and upheaval caused by frequent moves. Let’s ask God for a great outpouring of Holy Spirit on the military and their families.

“For I will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring And My blessing on your descendants.” (Isaiah 44:3; NASB)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Pray Isaiah 44:3 over the military.
  • Intercede for the leadership of the nation and the military’s five branches of service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard). Ask that they do not impede God’s move, but even make room for it, when they see the results.
  • Ask God to save souls, restore marriages, heal bodies and minds, and minister to the children.
  • Declare that the military environment will experience an unprecedented move of God’s Holy Spirit on every base all around the world.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, I’m asking for a great outpouring of Your Holy Spirit on the military and their families. I ask for decisions to be made at high levels to allow this. I’m asking You to do this no matter what anybody says. Pour out Your Spirit and save hundreds of thousands, even millions of people in the great worldwide outpouring. However, I am asking that You have a direct hit on the military arena, an explosion of power, signs and wonders, dreams and visions. I’m asking you to hover over bases and do an amazing work in marriages, homes, families, and healing of trauma. All across this nation, we ask You together for a mighty outpouring on our military. Thank You, Jesus! Amen.
