Praying for Our Military: Intelligence Support

“Intelligence was critical in the days of Moses and remains so today for all military operations. Just as Moses sent out spies to perform reconnaissance of the land of Canaan, today’s military must have robust intelligence capabilities that alert them to danger and give them an understanding of the enemy’s intent, power and ability, and tactics. Currently, the Intelligence Community appears to be compromised, as many damaging leaks are coming out from the various intelligence entities, thereby compromising national security and endangering the lives of those in the US Military. Intelligence agencies and personnel must be committed to their task of supporting military operations and giving the men and women in uniform an extra margin for success in battle.” (General Jerry Boykin)1

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  • Pray for leadership in the intelligence agencies that focus first on supporting the needs of our troops. Leaders who will throw political correctness aside are needed to provide our troops what they need to fight and win wars.
  • Pray that our enemies will be revealed and that every planned attack will be exposed; that no enemy secrets will be hidden from our intelligence activities.
  • Pray for stamina for every Intelligence professional. Ask the Lord to give them physical and emotional strength and stamina to endure the rigors of their work.

A prayer you can pray:

Lord, we pray that our government and military leaders would consider the safety of our troops in the way they handle and release intelligence. We ask that what needs released is released, but what must remain confidential is safe and secure. Political correctness must be put aside when precious military lives are at stake. We command every plan against America at home, and against our troops abroad would be exposed. Give our intelligence services the guidance they need. Uncover what needs uncovered, Holy Spirit. Thank you, Jesus! Amen.
